The Power of Positive Thinking

Getting into the habit of positive thinking serves you more than you may realize.

If you’re new to the law of attraction, it’s a very simple concept that states what you focus on, you bring into your life.

Positive Thinking

In other words, what you think about, you bring about. Every person has a vibration, a frequency that is emitted into the universe and the universe sends that frequency back to you via experiences, people, situations, money, etc. You control what that vibration is with your thoughts and feelings, therefore, you control what comes into your life.

Positive thinking, welcomes positive experiences into your life. On the flip side, negative thinking, complaining and imagining the worst case scenario…you guessed it, welcomes negative things into your life.

The great thing about the law of attraction is that once you are aware of how it works, you can be more in control of your life. How?

Well, who controls your thoughts? You do.

Do you really want more positive things in your life or negative ones?

If you want better relationships, experiences, more money, then change your perspective. Practice positive thinking about the many areas of your life. Get into the habit of noticing the positive things in a situation or person. This will make a world of difference to you.

Think of how much time you normally spend complaining about things. Don’t you find that those are the things that usually get worse, not better?

Try this simple exercise: whatever you’re complaining about right now in your life, start speaking about it in a positive way. For instance, if you really hate your job, and are used to complaining about it, your boss, your co-workers, etc., decide right now to only say positive things about them. Do this every day for the next thirty days.

You’ll notice that not only does changing your mind from negative to positive thinking make you feel better, the situation itself will improve.

Do it and find out for yourself. You can apply this to any area of your life and notice improvements.

One of the most fun tools to help you with positive thinking is to visualize what you want. Set aside some time to daydream about what you really want. See yourself living the life you really want, wearing the clothes you want, traveling to places you’ve often thought about visiting. Visualizing is one of the most effective ways to manifest your desires.

See it in your mind. Believe it to be true. As Napoleon Hill said, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

The law of attraction states that thoughts become things.

Do yourself a favor; get into the habit of controlling your thinking because either way, what you think about, you bring about.

If you’re still having doubts as to how much power positive thinking really has over your overall success in life, take a look at these stories:

  • Mark Burnett, creator of hit reality tv shows, “Survivor,” “The Apprentice,” “Rock Star INXS,” was on the Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss his success. While working as a nanny in Los Angeles to wealthy families, he noticed that they were all very positive people. He then realized that he was more like them than he had realized, and continued to keep a positive attitude while working towards his dream (even while selling t-shirts on Venice Beach!).

  • While Viktor Frankl was a prisoner in a concentration camp, he observed that people who had given up on living and believed that they would die shortly, did just that. While he, among others, who looked forward to being free again and imagined a new life for themselves, were the survivors. He discusses this at length in his book, "Man’s Search For Meaning."

It is the law and it is at work all the time, whether you agree with it or not, so why not benefit from understanding and applying the law of attraction and finally get the life that you really want?
